  as far as i know, berkshire county high school football teams never had a black qb when i played  the springfield teams did, and with all the seasons that were played, there might have been some black qbs in the berkshires, but i did not see them nor have access to any records that prove there were carlos could have been our starting qb easy i'm not sure, because i rarely if ever saw him pass a football, but all of the other sports i saw him play (and once when we were throwing rocks at each other up at the little park by eastlawn cemetary - linear park) he had an amazing arm too. i believe that there was an unwritten rule, kind of like there had been in the nfl, that qbs had to be white up until about the mid 1970s See, Carlos probably could have gotten a full scholarship to maybe any Division 1 school in the nation.
